Grant Application Procedure

Grant applications must be signed and dated and include the following:

  • Name of requestor

  • Descriptive information about the group (e.g., Annual Report and tax return)

  • Contact person

  • Purpose of grant, including who will benefit

  • What you want from the Scarsdale Foundation

  • Proposed project budget including other sources of revenue and anticipated expenses

  • Actual budget if project has been previously run

  • Person(s) responsible for project execution

  • How you plan to measure success

  • Description of any planned publicity

  • How you plan to acknowledge Scarsdale Foundation’s grant

  • Any other relevant information

Ideally the application should be submitted at least three months prior to need for the funds. Emergency grants involving less advance notice will be considered.

A report on the result of the project should be submitted within 60 days of completion.
